The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area daily. The provider position designed for intervention experiences a significant influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all more info people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to empower the servicing of all buyers and boost usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
